This here is a bald eagle’s HUGE nest. This picture was taken on my recent trip to Alabama to help the Audubon Society gather data after the oil spill. Our director, Eric, took us by the nest site on the bay, and told us that this nest had been there for a number of years. And check. It. Out. There’s an immature eagle up in there.
